Procrastination, the notorious act committed by students all around, can be difficult to manage. Worry not, for here are some tips on how to keep procrastination at bay.

1. Make a Schedule

Avoid cramming tons of homework late at night by creating a schedule before hand. Planning what assignments you have or need to get completed is important as doing so will allow you to manager your time efficiently. Some tips include investing in a planner or organizing your calendar on your electric devices. Having all your tasks on one page will help you plan what works need to be completed every day.

2. Minimize Distractions

Procrastination is always amplified by the constant ringing of devices begging for your attention. When needing to complete an important task, aim to place all devices on silent or away from you physically. It's best to work in room where distractions are gone. Doing so will allow you to focus easily on the task at hand.

3. Reward Yourself

Nothing is more satisfying then a reward after a long day of work. Work on your tasks with the mindset that there will be a reward at the end of the struggle. After completing hours of hard work, a reward will be extremely refreshing when received. Aim for rewards such as healthy snacks or fun activities to do.

4. Learn to Forgive Yourself

Everyone procrastinates, and you should never feel disappointed or ashamed about it. Sometimes people get caught up in other situations and work ends up being pushed away. If you end of procrastinating one day, do not beat yourself up about it. Take a breath and just focus on completing the task at at.
